The word "gemütlich" is a masterpiece of the German language. Gemütlichkeit is a feeling that encompasses warmth, friendliness and cheerfulness. A cheerful environment provides happiness, contentment and social belonging. What is fascinating here is that the understanding of "what is gemütlich?" can be interpreted differently by everyone.
Interior design and furnishing, with all its attention to detail and wide range of choices, should aim to make rooms individual and thus cosy.
"I enjoy having a cosy and good-looking home, but am just unable to put it all together myself. After asking me questions to understand my taste, lifestyle and needs, Gunnar took care of making my new space beautiful. The result is way beyond my expectation! I can only recommend Gunnar's services."
In an initial meeting I get to know you and your home. You tell me what mood you want to create and what the main ambition of your design project is.
With the help of inspiration photos we define the style that suits you and your project.
Next, colour combinations are chosen based on the lighting conditions, the usage of the space and your personality.
The room layout, style and colour definition is concretised through high-quality 3D visualisations. You get a better feeling for the room and can test out A/B variants.
Once you feel satisfied with the 3D visualizations, a shopping list of selected items will be created accordingly.
While the furniture is ordered and the delivery dates are coordinated, supporting services can be tackled: Cables need to be laid, the sound system needs to be installed, wallpapering and painting need to be done.
Once all the work has been completed and furniture delivered, each piece is put in its place and the final touches are created through decorating and designing.
